What is the load range of the THT500?
The THT500 offers a hardness (breaking force) measuring range of 3–500 N, making it suitable for testing a wide variety of pharmaceutical tablets. The system provides an accuracy of ±1 N and supports multiple force units including Newton (N), kilogram-force (kgf), and pound-force (lbf).
Does my precision balance work with the THT500?
The THT500 supports weight measurement through an external balance connected via its RS232 interface. It is compatible with selected models from Shimadzu and Mettler Toledo, including the ATY, ATX, ME, and MS series balances listed in the datasheet. If your balance model is not listed, please contact us to confirm compatibility.

How is the THT500 compliant with 21 CFR Part 11?
The THT500 can be integrated with CeLeste™ software, which is designed to comply with 21 CFR Part 11 requirements for electronic records and electronic signatures. Key features include audit trails, electronic signatures, user access controls, password security, version control, database backup and restore, and IQ/OQ/PQ software validation support.
Does the THT500 come with the constant force testing mode?
Yes. The THT500 includes both constant force and constant speed testing modes. In constant force mode, users can set a linear force increment rate from 10 to 200 N/sec. Constant speed mode supports test speeds from 0.01 to 3 mm/sec.
